MacLean Engineering wins NASA simulation model development contract worth up to $100 million
NASA awarded a contract to MacLean Engineering & Applied Technologies to provide simulation model development and integration of the generic simulation tookit the agency uses to run simulations, NASA announced
MacLean Engineering will provide verification, validation, analysis, documentation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support of Trick-based non-real-time and real-time human-in-the-loop simulations. The company will aslo provide other support for the Engineering Directorate at the NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, according to NASA.
The Trick Simulation environment is a generic simulation toolkit used for constructing and running simulations.
The Simulation and Advanced Software Services contract has a maximum potential value of approximately $100 million over a five-year period of performance.
MacLean Engineering & Applied Technologies will provide support that addresses engineering analysis, operations, and training requirements, as well as provides advanced software services for research, development, and deployment.
