Office of Naval Intelligence seeking cloud training platform
The Office of Naval Intelligence needs a self-paced, web training platform to teach personnel about cloud design, adoption, development, and implementation, the agency announced.
For the project, the contractor will provide a cloud-training platform to train, equip and educate the ONI workforce who are responsible for cloud adoption and usage on various cloud environments. The training must be web-based and include how-to guides while providing hands-on experience with different cloud environments.
The project will support ONI’s rapid adoption and use of cloud-based computing services to enable the collection, analysis, and distribution of critical intelligence data in a timely manner in support of missions, according to the announcement.
In compliance with the ONI directive for “Cloud First” as announced in the Naval Intelligence (NAVINTEL) Cloud Strategy 2020-2025, ONI is establishing a “Cloud-Ready” workforce, which will need to be technically proficient in order to design, configure and operationalize current and future intelligence services in the cloud.
With moving to a multi cloud environment, it has become critical to have a “Cloud Ready” ONI workforce that is informed, aware and capable of designing, developing, deploying and managing NAVINTEL Mission Services in multiple cloud environments, according to the announcement.
Proposals are due August 12. For more information and to view the full description, view the Sam.gov post HERE.
