Veterans Affairs seeks software support for Netsmart Technologies used at Oregon facility

A Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Portland, Ore. is seeking a contractor to support an automated methadone ordering and dispensing system that provides dispensing and inventory management, the agency announced

The methadone clinic uses Netsmart’s Addiction Management System. The contractor will provide resources necessary to provide support to the Netsmart software that dispenses the methadone for the veterans. The contractor will provide 24 hour/7 days per week software support for the current software. The support will be provided virtually from the contractor’s facilities.  

Offers are due August 20. 

The contractor will provide technical support to end-users regarding troubleshooting, functionality, and questions. End users will receive technical support via phone, and email 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days for priority 1 issues.

The contractor must be able to provide assistance to the facility for diagnosing and addressing software errors. Contractor must also provide instructions and troubleshooting of common issues via online website and must be able to correct any software errors or provide a temporary solution within a reasonable timeframe after notification.
