Army searching for contractors to provide 3D, interactive simulation software to train personnel to work on aircraft components
US Army officials need Virtual Interactive Environment 3D Simulation Software and the hardware to support it to train personnel to work on several aircraft components including engines, transmissions and auxiliary power units.

Within the project, the contractor will provide four VIE workstations loaded with 3D simulation software. The software must include the following functionality: Free Play, Theory of Operation, and Removal & Install Procedures.
The Free Play function must include these capabilities: Multiple camera views, draw function, procedural steps, and 2D files for viewing liquid, electric, and air flows.
The Theory of Operation function must include the breakdown of major modules and components, and systems flows.
