Army seeks online service to provide cyber security and cyber warfare training for Junior Officer Training Corps Cadets

The US Army is seeking an online service to train cadets in the areas of cyber security and cyber warfare, according to a Sam.gov announcement.

Small businesses are being sought for the project and initial proposals are due by April 14, according to the announcement. 

The Army wants to procure instructor facilitated only online service for Cyber-Science, Technology,  Engineering, and Math training camp on the subjects of cyber security and cyber warfare for the 8th Brigade Junior Officer Training Corps Cadets.  

Army officials want Institutions primarily engaged  in furnishing academic courses and granting degrees at baccalaureate or graduate levels. The requirement for admission is at least a high school diploma or equivalent  general academic training.  

Instruction may be provided in diverse settings, such as the establishment’s or client’s training facilities, educational  institutions, the  workplace, or the home, and through diverse means, such as correspondence, television, the Internet, or other electronic and distance-learning  methods. 

The training provided  by these establishments may include the use of simulators and simulation methods.   

The two training sessions will be from June 21-25, 2021 and July 5-9, 2021, with each lasting five  days for each week with 32 Cadets attending  each training session for a total of 64 Cadets attending.
