Job Alert: Air Force seeks computer engineers as part of COVID-19 response

The Department of the Air Force is seeking computer engineers in support of the Federal Government’s response efforts to COVID-19, the organization announced.

Multiple positions are available in several locations. The duties include: Using engineering manuals and technical material to obtain information and data, conducting engineering reviews of operational requirements for IT systems, and developing computer and/or communications IT systems products used by Air Force personnel.

Either an engineering degree from an accredited institution or equal experience is required (see full requirements HERE).

Other needed skills include: Knowledge of professional computer engineering concepts, familiarity with other engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, and aerospace) and Information Technology (IT) architecture.

Candidates must also have the ability to apply systems and software engineering principles and emerging software and hardware technologies to complex processes and plan/organize work.
