Marine Corps Embassy Security Group is searching for an integrated data management and performance tracking system
The Marine Corps Embassy Security Group , which selects, trains, and assigns Marine Security Guards at US diplomatic missions worldwide has intensive data management requirements due to its global footprint. The organization is searching for a unified data management system, it announced.
The security group is responsible for tracking more than 3,000 Marine Security Guards and Detachment Commanders in 183 Detachments across 152 countries, and thousands of additional Marines identified by the Recruiting and Screening Team as potential members.
The data-tracking process begins at recruiting, continues through training, and includes the generation of assignments and continuous evaluation monitoring at post.
Despite these extensive data requirements, the security group currently lacks a group-wide, integrated data management system capable of tracking and monitoring MSGs throughout their lifecycle on the program. The organization needs a unified data management system that facilitates performance and data tracking across all phases of the program with an overarching goal of enhancing productivity, communication, and efficiency.
The objective of this effort is to provide MCESG a solution to track performance and personnel data across the program. The solution will require the use of commercially available software that will have Authority to Operate on the Marine Corps Enterprise Network and will be accessible by users on the MCEN. Additionally, data entry capability should exist on both desktop and mobile operating systems. The software and services included on this PWS direct support the Recruiting and Screening Team Data Management, Schools Data Management, Assignment Generation and Management, and Behavioral Assessment Tool Management.
The scope of this effort is to provide a capability that enables users throughout the command to monitor and track performance and personnel data as Marines transition from recruitment through training and onto the program. The users will be the Recruitment and Screening Team, School Leadership and Instructor Advisors, Assignments Team, Behavioral Science Section, Executive Director, Region Leadership and Inspecting Officers, and Detachment Commanders. The solution will have the ability to equitably generate post assignments while taking into consideration a variety of existing business rules and model constraints. The solution will enable all authorized users to track and enter behavioral observations to enhance screening and training, to inform personnel decisions, and to mitigate risk.
