Securities and Exchange Commission is seeking a suite of intelligence and analytics tools for social media and web browsing

The Securities and Exchange Commission is seeking a suite of intelligence and analytics tools including: an identity attribution tool, an isolated browser tool and a social media aggregation tool, the organization announced.

The social media aggregation tool, for example, requires a subscription to a Commercial-Off-the-Shelf solution that provides email alerts to SEC staff based on keyword searches for relevant topics.

The tool must allow SEC staff to control the content and number of alerts. The tool also must have a control dashboard for each user to customize alerts and alert frequency.

SEC staff must be able to perform searches through the tool without pre-approval or vetting of search criteria by the social media site.

The solution must be able to access, in a single tool, publicly-available social media sites, including but not limited to:  Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Reddit. And access additional public forums, message boards, blogs, and news media sites.
