Social media content sought for Tsunami Information Center
Content related to tsunami awareness and preparedness will get a boost under a new contract opportunity from the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration.
The International Tsunami Information Center, which is hosted by NOAA in Honolulu, is seeking a contractor to provide social media content.
“The content should consist of practical, informative and useful information of tsunamis, tsunami warning, and preparedness to save life and property from tsunamis,” according to the announcement. “The information will help citizens to be ready for the next tsunami.”
The contractor will work with the ITIC to create a list of tsunami content topic that can be posted on the organization’s Facebook page or website. The content will be posted at least weekly.
The vendor should have knowledge of tsunami science, historical tsunamis, tsunami preparedness, education, and awareness practices.
